Roy Doumani
Roy Doumani, a survivor of prostate cancer, is a native of Los Angeles. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Business and Finance and received a law degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) Advisory and Oversight Board. Mr. Doumani holds the position of Professor of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He also serves as co-chairman of the Zhejiang California NanoSystems Institute (ZCNI) and is chairman of the Business Advisory Board for the governor of Zhejiang Province, China. Judith Gasson, PhD
Judith Gasson, Ph.D., became the director of UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center on Sept. 15, 1995. She is a molecular biologist and is responsible for one of only 39 institutions designated as comprehensive cancer centers by the National Cancer Institute. Hamilton Jordan
Hamilton Jordan directed Jimmy Carter's presidential campaign and served under President Carter as the youngest chief of staff in presidential history. He is also a three time cancer survivor and a powerful patient advocate. Jordan detailed his personal struggles with cancer in the memoir No Such Thing as a Bad Day.
