Hsian-Rong Tseng, PhD

Hsian-Rong Tseng's research interests are to develop microfluidic technology and to utilize this technology to address important issues in the fields of molecular imaging, cancer biology and chemistry.  His research group has recently developed a variety of integrated microfluidic circuits for highly efficient radiolabeling reactions and cell-sorting processes, as well as a prototype nanoelectronic sensor that have the potential application in cancer diagnosis.  Dr. Tseng, who was an organic chemist in training, brings his expertise in chemistry, materials science, micro/nanofabrication and molecular imaging to the Nanosystems Biology Cancer Center.
